Joint-Steering Committee

We are somewhat unique in that our unions (UWUA & ICWUC/UFCW) are jointly certified by the National Labor Relations Board as our representatives. While there may be only two unions on property, we are represented by six Locals and all six of them comprise the Joint Steering Committee (JSC). They meet with each other on occasion to collaborate and with the company monthly to negotiate on our behalf.

Currently, members of the JSC are able to point the finger at other locals whenever their respective membership is agitated by their poor performance.
