Committees

Committees are made of members and meet on Union time to execute obligations ranging from grievance processing to research. 

There is a potential for abuse of committee positions, but also potential for committees to do great work.

Two examples from Local 132 are the Grievance Committee which makes decisions on grievances that can only be overruled by the Local's Executive Board and Trial Committees which have been used to oust Union activists and further the corrupt practices of Joe Moreno, Belinda Moreno, and Mike Commode's administration.
